Our compost toilets are of the highest standard. They are spotlessly clean and pleasant to use.
You will have your own designated toilet whilst at Banbury Meadow, so will not have to share with other guests, other than your own party members.
The compost loos are the result of an ecological workshop that was held at Banbury Meadow.
The wood (larch) was taken from a sustainable woodland near Bath and cut on site to create the timber needed for the loos.
Thunderbox compost toilets are used by artists performing on the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury Festival, so we figured that if they are good enough for Beyoncé and Radiohead, they are good enough for us!
The Thunderbox composting system is fully approved by the Environment Agency.
The Thunderbox Collective also has its own environmental code of practice to which we strictly adhere.

Each yurt is supplied with a locally hand-made wood burner, crafted by our friend Dave from Glastonbury Burners, ensuring that you will be cosy and warm, ideal for romantic nights in.
Our shower has been built to provide you with instant on-demand hot water and is available for use 24 hours a day.
Also provided are fresh towels for each of our guests, free of charge.
The "shower shed" contains one shower and sink, and is suitably decorated to a high standard. The showers are heated by an off-grid propane heater and powered by a leisure battery and boat pump.
This kitchen unit is fully equipped with a vintage butler sink and a triple-ring gas hob for you to rustle up anything from a hearty breakfast to a three-course meal. Also provided are cool boxes and frozen ice packs.
There is a large country table and chairs to enjoy meals in comfort. We've also added some luxury essentials such as fine china, champagne flutes and coffee cafetieres for that special break away.
